Defective Products

North Dakota, Minnesota & Montana Defective Product Attorneys

At Maring Williams Law Office, we believe that manufacturers have an ethical responsibility to make safe products. This includes the vehicles we drive, food we eat, drugs we take, toys we give our kids, and almost everything that we touch, see, and feel.

We believe that no product can be perfectly safe but that efforts have to be made to inform consumers of the known risks involved with a product. We also believe that if a manufacturer produces a product and fails to identify or inform the user of the risks associated with use of the product, they need to be held accountable for injuries that occur as a result of their failure to disclose those risks.

Types of Defective Product Claims

Here are a few examples of the many cases we’ve handled involving defective products:

  • Medical equipment products like oxygen tank valves, parts for joint replacements, and defective medications
  • Household and construction equipment like improper scaffolding and lifting devices
  • Farming equipment like power take-offs, defective anhydrous valves and hoses, and potato harvesters
  • Manufacturing equipment like punch presses, conveyor belts, and materials handling equipment

People who are injured by the fault of others are entitled by law to compensation. We accept claims when we believe we can prove fault and there is a substantial injury.

If a link can be established between the product and the injury, we will investigate it quickly because, oftentimes, the business pulls the product from the market or fixes the problem before an investigation can be completed. We will hire experts, as needed, to help us prove the case. We will go to trial, as necessary, to get you the compensation to which you are entitled.
