Community Involvement
Advocacy Inside and Outside of the Courtroom
At Maring Williams, we are proud to live in the communities in which we serve. Many of us grew up in these communities and learned firsthand the importance of lending a helping hand. The people of our communities have trusted our firm for over 30 years to not only provide high quality legal services, but also to be leaders in those communities. Our firm has accepted the challenge and we continue to serve our communities with honor, humility, and gratitude.
We led an “I Buckle Up” campaign for the Traffic Safety Task Force and presented to more than 1,500 area fifth graders, emphasizing the need for children and families to use seatbelts. We continue to partner with EndDD, an organization dedicated to sharing the importance of driving safely without distraction, and have presented to thousands of area high school students about the dangers of distracted driving.
Our firm has had a successful partnership with the Great Plains Food Bank, an organization with the goal of ending hunger in North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota, by volunteering our time, leadership, and financial resources. We have done the same with many other organizations throughout our communities impacting those in need.
Our attorneys and staff have also spent thousands of hours volunteering their time for various community organizations and important causes. Many of those hours were spent in leadership positions and in the trenches with many other civic-minded community members in an attempt to make the world better. Maring Williams Law Office and its team have also donated thousands of dollars in support of these causes and continues to invest its time and resources into its communities.
We are grateful to live and serve where we do and have enjoyed trying to make our communities better and safer.
