Lindsay (Harris) Wilz is a shareholder at Maring Williams Law Office in Bismarck, North Dakota. Lindsay is licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Montana, and she focuses her practice on oilfield litigation and medical negligence claims. Since 2016, Lindsay has been recognized as a “Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer” in the personal injury category by Super Lawyers, a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
The American Association for Justice Women Trial Lawyers Caucus recognized Lindsay’s drive to fight for her clients and take on the hard cases by awarding her the Caucus’s Inaugural Trailblazer Award in 2024. The North Dakota Association for Justice also recognized Lindsay’s efforts in advocating for her clients by awarding her the Rising Star award in 2025.
Lindsay attended North Dakota State University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a minor in Mathematics. After receiving her undergraduate education, Lindsay attended the University of North Dakota School of Law, being selected to the Order of Barristers and graduating cum laude. Following law school, Lindsay returned to her hometown of Bismarck and served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring of the North Dakota Supreme Court before joining Maring Williams Law Office.
Lindsay is also active in the legal community. She is on the executive committee for the North Dakota Association of Justice and the Revitalization Board of Governor and Chair of the Republican Trial Lawyer’s Caucus of American Association of Justice. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys golfing, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
